Simpert-Kraemer-Gymnasium Krumbach - Germany

 

The town of Krumbach is a little gem of Bavarian-Swabian cities. Krumbach is a city that citizens and their guests high amenity value and nature offers her. Krumbach is embedded in a harmonious landscape of scenic valleys and narrow ridges, lush meadows and dense, extensive forests. The cozy tranquility Krumbach does not mean that little will change to offer. In the city and the surrounding recreational facilities are found attractive sport and for the whole family, often integrated into the surrounding countryside.   Interesting impressions convey the cultural sights, the long and varied history of the city reflect the. These include next to the former palace Hürben water as one of the oldest buildings in Bavaria (1478), the parish church of St. Michael (1752), the historic Town Hall (1679) and some beautiful half-timbered buildings.

The Simpert-Kraemer-Gymnasium in Krumbach is this school year a Comenius partner school and is funded by the EU Lifelong Learning Programme. Six European partner schools, including the SKG are involved in robotics technology project. As part of the robotics-choice students and their teachers from various European schools are developing and programming robots.
On Thursday 6^th October 2011 a meeting of the Comenius partner schools from Shrewbury and Birmingham in England,  Weiz in Styria, Neu-Ulm and Vöhringen was held in Krumbach. The project was discussed for this year: The partner schools will develop under the generic term "Robot magic" dancing robots. The results of individual schools will then be brought together and listed as a European robotic choreography in Weiz /Austria. This is an important contribution to the technological education of the students and to European understanding. The robotics project is supervised by the teachers at the SKG Anne Brenner and Gerhard Dempf.

Das Simpert-Kraemer-Gymnasium Krumbach ist auch in diesem Schuljahr wieder als Comenius-Partnerschule beim durch die EU geförderten Programm für lebenslanges Lernen dabei. Sechs europäische Partnerschulen,
darunter das SKG, sind am Technikprojekt Robotik beteiligt. Im Rahmen des Robotik-Wahlunterrichts entwickeln und programmieren Schüler an den verschiedenen europäischen Schulen gemeinsam mit ihren Lehrern Roboter.

Am Donnerstag, den 6.10. 2011 fand im Gymnasium Krumbach ein Treffen der Comenius-Partnerschulen aus Shrewbury und Birmingham in England, Weiz aus der Steiermark sowie Neu-Ulm und Vöhringen statt. Dabei wurde das Jahresprojekt besprochen: Die Partnerschulen entwickeln unter dem Oberbegriff „Robot magic“ tanzende Roboter. Die Arbeitsergebnisse der einzelnen Schulen werden dann europäisch zusammengeführt und als Robotik-Choreografie in Weiz/Österreich aufgeführt, ein wichtiger Beitrag zur technologischen Bildung
der Schülerschaft und zur europäischen Verständigung. Das Robotik-Projekt wird am SKG durch die Lehrkräfte Anne Brenner und Gerhard Dempf betreut.
